Green fashion continues to break through and the best scene is fashion week. It offers its various locations to reveal new brands or projects related to this movement. An example of this is the collaboration between Diesel and Coca-Cola; who unveiled a collection based on plastic bottles and recycled cotton during Paris fashion week; this was called “Re Collection” thus entering the eco-sustainable current.
Renzo Rosso, founder of Diesel, commented; “Inspired by our vision of the future, we are partnering with Coca-Cola to explore new ways of creating fabrics, while challenging ourselves to incorporate recycled materials into our collections.”
On the other hand, Michelle Moorehead, vice president of global licensing and retail sales for The Coca-Cola Company, added; “Re Collection not only raises awareness of the importance of recycling in a very accessible way by showing beautiful garments created with recycled materials, but also a collection that celebrates individuality.”
