Natura Siciliana is sustainable not only in terms of the cosmetics themselves, but also when it comes to packaging.
“Minimal” is the watchword as they avoid any plastic and polluting materials. Biodegradable and recyclable packaging is always preferred.
Even ingredient processing is simple; the idea is to be respectful of its nature during each stage. This ensures a natural result while fully respecting natural products. It should be noted that all products are organic, cruelty-free, and comply with European health standards. The business strategy is simple and transparent: if an ingredient is not natural, don’t use it.

NATURA SICILIANA and its COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY: NO PALM OIL
All Natura Siciliana products are 100% palm oil free. Indeed, very few companies can say so. Unfortunately, this substance is widely used due to it being the most effective lubricant on the market. On top of that, compared to coconut trees, it requires only 25% as much soil and water. Palm oil is devastating for people, animals and the planet. Its demand, however, is so high that it is causing mass deforestation. This means that animals such as tigers and orangutans are deprived of a suitable habitat; not to mention the impacts on climate.
NATURA SICILIANA and its COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY: NO PLASTIC
The use of plastics, especially how they are produced and disposed of, is another problem. On average, the manufacturing process produces about 6 kg of CO2 per 1 kg of plastic. Let’s also consider that, globally, a total of 300 million tons of waste is produced and only 9% is recycled. 8 million tons end up in the ocean; which amounts to 1440 dump trucks, EVERY DAY. Dramatic when you consider that plastic takes hundreds of years to degrade.
Therefore Natura Siciliana is completely PLASTIC FREE also regarding its products: 99% of them is plastic free, chlorine free and no laminated.

The beating heart of Natura Siciliana is to care for the planet and all living things; that’s why all products are vegan. This is one of the non-negotiable principles, so is not testing on animals, or using products tested on them. NO EXCEPTIONS
